    Question Comment on BULLDOGDSL

I'm planning to go for 'Alltime 2000'.... Any comment on this ISP, i heard a lot of bad and good review. I'm living in manchester city centre and i have check that my nearest exchange is 'BLACKFRIARS' and i think its a new exchange... Any opinion.. I'm also considering going for Central point (2nd option) since bulldog offer 40:1 but central point giving 50:1 contention.

There are loads of ADSL ISP's on there that offer 2mb and above.

I have bulldog 2 Mb and its been nothing short of fantastic ( when I've been connected due to PC knackering issues - that is )

If you need me to trace to any IP's etc - pop them here and I'll be happy to do it

Ive ordered a 2mbit line from central point, they did a very thoughrough check on my line when I ordered up, only ting is, I think some of the exchanges (including mine) havent been upgraded yet. So its their 1mbit line for the time being...

Nildram are very reliable, however I cant say the same about the customer sevice. U have to order a 512k line 1st before u upgrade to a 1mbit line. U also have to wait 21 days before ur line can get turned on, then tehy said it would take a further 10 days to upgrade to the 1mbit line. So I waited. Day 11, still no 1mbit line. I rang up, eventually after some mild complaining, they explained how my order wasnt on the computer records...

Another 21 days I had to wait. So, after ringing up from day 1 to actually getting my line took over 2 and half months.
