any have an issues with this because i updated it and now it keeps disappering from the network and i ahve to turn it off and on again

When you say disappearing, how are you accessing it - from a Windows machine - if so which version? Have you mapped a network drive or are you browsing for it?

Try start | run |\\servername

Does that access it?
