Have you tried mapping via IP address rather than name?

Couple of things spring to mind - network connection set as Public rather than Private?

File & Printer Sharing being blocked by Windows Firewall?

Restart of each machine? (random, I know, but when one of my machines was refusing connections at 3am it was all it needed)

Re: mapping a network location problem

1st thing i checked was network set as work, 2nd thing was a reboot, 3rd was turning off the firewall

all before posting here, ie the obvious things

strange how it used to work but i went to check why it had not backed up teamspeak and found the network location had a red x through it.
