Question connecting IPTV router with wifi router

I have faced this issue where i have to use a separate router IPTV and a wireless router for home internet, this is because the tv is situated a bit further away from the wireless router and if to use the IPTV functions we can't use the internetz

spliter is situated further away from both the tv(including iptv router) and the wireless modem, and the wires are laid out through the house so it reaches the end point( near each router and telephone outlets),

    >bit messy for internet<

once i tried to directly attach the wireless router to the IPTV router but then the internet started dropping from time to time,i did however left settings unchanged(on the wireless router)

is there any way i can enjoy both IPTV and Internet at the same time...i'm willing to do some wiring if needed
    HALP!

Re: connecting IPTV router with wifi router

As long as the "IPTV Router" is an always-on device, internet should be uninterrupted.

The wifi router will need to have DNS and DHCP disabled on it and then manually set to a spare IP address within your main routers IP range.
