Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
Good.
It was hosting piracy, with only the excuse of "it was the users who done it".
The company is Hong Kong based.
It seems that that founder was arrested in New Zealand:

The chap is German.
I suspect if this was founded by a Chinese person nothing would have happened.
Looks like he was doing more than just file hosting...

http://www.neowin.net/news/megauploa...racy-shut-downOne of the worlds most popular file sharing websites -- Megaupload -- who had been in the news recently for their controversial song featuring many famous artists, has been shut down by federal prosecutors in the United States.
The New York Times reports that the indictment accuses the company of costing over $500 million in lost revenue due to pirated films, TV shows, music and other content.
Strangely, the timing of the takedown comes after websites across the internet, such as Wikipedia and Reddit went down for up to 24 hours in protest of SOPA/PIPA, which would endanger the internet. It appears the timing is just a coincedence, however, it's concerning that the feds don't even need SOPA to make a move like this. The site is run out of Hong Kong but hosted in part in Ashburn, VA where the indictment was made.
The CEO has form for dubious financial activities:

Who next Rapidshare, Mediafire.![]()
I hope not, i have 6 months of RapidPro left.
Pretty sure they wont though tbh
The USA in my eyes is fast becoming the new Modern day Nazi Germany with it's extream laws it's passing ranging from terrorism to the internet.
Personally, I only see it getting worst there with more freedom's removed and if you try to defend them, you be called a terrorist.
America is meant to be the land of the free, freedom of speech, but that's long been history.
Such a stupid thing to say, cars kill people, maybe we should ban all cars, that be right in your logic right.
I have used the MU service to send a BIOS and installer to people I can't get to (with the permission of XFX) as a GSOD fix, as well as sharing our family photos and history with family. Obviously I don't have all the facts, however what worries me is that the police hacked/tapped the private emails of people and are prepared to send them upriver for 20 years.
Is there not a legitimate way of providing such a service ? Preferably without any dodgy founders ?
From the NYT article
"The Megaupload case is unusual, said Orin S. Kerr, a law professor at George Washington University, in that federal prosecutors obtained the private e-mails of Megaupload’s operators in an effort to show they were operating in bad faith.
“The government hopes to use their private words against them,” Mr. Kerr said. “This should scare the owners and operators of similar sites.”
I don't know about them, but it scares the crap out of me.
Edit: Damn - we got to the Godwin threshold quickly.

Society's to blame,
Or possibly Atari.
Terbinator (20-01-2012)
20 years worth of money laundering? They have probably been building a case on him for quite a while and probably did had warrants.
Owners of all these sites should be scared, its fairly well known that they are all a bit dodgy and no doubt partake in illegal activities completely unrelated to what their websites are used for. I thought that mega upload was one of the safer ones if im honest!
I think rapidshare is safe, they had a big scare with the courts not so long ago and made a lot of changes in the way they worked and their policies to try and make them more legitimate.
Filesonic, wupload, file jungle and all the other ones that you are likely to see, im not sure about but i do remember seeing something about them being run by the same group of people.

People ranting about censorship etc are very conveniently ignoring the fact that megaupload are piracy sites,
and they openly admitted that in various communication.
"I shared some personal files on there" may be true for the vanishingly small minority,
but its by far not the main use of megaupload and we all know this, but some pretend not to.
problem they face, and will always face, until a bill like SOPA or PIPA is pushed through, if they close one of these sites down then another 3 will appear. Technically, as long as you are shown to make obvious effort in removing copywrited material, its a lot more difficult for the US government to anything.
The only thing I find annoying about this, is that half the ROM and theme downloads for my phone will now be dead links
