Hmmmm, I beat the download but lose on the upload. Must try mine tonight when I get home and see if I was better off on my phone (apart from the 1GB usage cap, of course!)...

I don't think a 120ms ping is too bad, considering it's from a phone, using 3G
And anyway Steve, what kind of an upload speed is that? It's pitiful
I used to get about 100ms pings on my Sky ADSL line only about 4 years ago.
Just ran another, to a server in London (Trance FM Server), which is about 300 miles.
Hmm, just hoiked down speedtest onto my O2X. I get 3.44mbps download, 390kbps upload on hsdpa, and a remarkable 44kbps down, 33kbps up on edge

This is faster than my old adsl2
And this is my ADSL connectionIt's synced at 7mbps, and if I had run the test at 6am I would probably get that speed, but in the evening the speed is seriously poor around here, exchange is overloaded :-/
