    Tesco Dial-up Internet

    Hi

Trying to move over to Slackware 10 on my laptop (As opposed to WinXP) but for some reason Tesco refuse to accknowledge my existance and ignore all E-Mails and never seem to answer the phone. Basicly, I just want the Dial-up numbers so I can create my connection In Linux. I'm on the anytime service and i know all the other details except for the Dial in numbers. For some reason tesco have decided to mask the numbers in various ways meaning I can't just get them from their software (Which also will go as its annoying and intrusive and doesn't support auto-redial ). The number on their site doesn't work either. If anyone knows of the numbers please can you tell me them? I know that a number that I previously used that worked started as

    126

    Any help appreciated

Falcon, is the phone line you are using BT or NTL?

I can find the PAYG number easily enough, im on the Anytime service.

And I'm on a BT line. They seem rediculously hard to get hold of, I don't understand why Tesco are hiding it!

If Tesco are still buying off NTLs BT service then it has to be one of these 2 numbers:
    08089933069
    08089933070

Don't quote me on this, but from what I remember, the Windows dialup software displays the phone number it is currently dialling? If not, it is possible to open the .exe in a hex editor and search for 0808 and you will find the list of phone numbers - trust me, I did it for a similar reason, but got ADSL now :-)
