The linksys and 3com are better bets because of the better firewalls included (full SPI)..

That Linksys one you gave reference to says: -

What is your budget? And what features are you after? Draytek look good on paper but having had one for a year I would avoid as most of the features on the box still dont work in a reliable or proper fashion. (Firewall/SNMP is what I have noticed doesnt work properly.)

Personally I'd have a look for the linksys which also has QoS built in, so you can limit bandwidth etc. If you have plenty of money consider a CISCO 837, but at >300 quid I doubt its something many people will consider!

Nah its just that CISCO own linksys now. Products upto now are still made/designed in isolation. Now if CISCO were to send some of there techs to linksys, then linksys would own the home space

I'm currently using D-Link DI-624 wireless router

Supports Super G, so future proof, very easy to use D-Link HTTP control panel/configuration. It is slightly more expensive than the competition, but it is imo a better router.

Installed the other day and well pleased

Went upstairs with my mums laptop and through thick garage walls, a floor and several other walls still maintained a 36mps rate and dropped to 24mbps if I moved my leg

Great value highly recommended
