DrayTek Vigor 2802Vn and Firefox login

    Hi Experts

Recently I bought Vigor 2802Vn , changed admin password from the default one ( admin although manual says should be : blank ) to the one that I have chosen.

Using Firefox V13 I can't login to the web interface of the router but using Internet explorer I can login with no problem at all.

Yes for sure I am using the same password in both browsers when i login.

    My second issue :

I had established a VPN IPSec using TheGreenBow client to connect to my vigor 2820Vn, connection was succeeded , and I was remotley to ping vigor and I was able to see the web interface by typing the private ip address for the router, but username and password didn't let me to loging on both browser Firefox and Internet Explorer !!!!

    Regards

Re: DrayTek Vigor 2802Vn and Firefox login

I have come across issues with the Draytek Admin UI refusing to work with particular versions of particular browsers from time to time. THe most common issue is the main menu is corrupted by page elements timing out.

I think I might recall there being a password issue with FF at some time in the past, which a router firmware update sorted out.

I can't test your exact set up unfortunately. I have just tested FF 14.0.1 on OSX, against a V2820Vn running firmware V3.3.5.2 and it works fine on the WAN IP and the LAN IP across PPTP VPN terminating at the router.

which a router firmware update sorted out.
I did upgrade the firmware from V3.3.5.2 to 3.3.7.2 and yes it fixed the issue for me as well
