    Way to ruin an ISP.

Glad I moved to Zen when I did.

Funny thing about pipex is that the people who are still with them generally dont see to have any issues with them. From what I can gather the service itself is OK, its just the customer service is pretty poor.

Luckily I am with Zen soooo glad I didnt decide to go nildram now!

Customer service has been excellent. I needed a replacement modem once, through to customer support immediately, 2 minute call, we'll send you a new modem, you send the old one back to us in the freepost envelope we provide. I decided later I didn't want a replacement, I phoned support, told them I didn't want it, they said it had already been dispatched to the courier, but we'll phone them and stop it getting sent.

Very nice and helpful, also any emails I have sent them have been answered within a day. I've never had any service stoppages in over a year, and there is no limit on the amount you download. I'm not sure on other providers, but the service is quite cheap, £24 a month for a 512/256 line (it connects higher than that though, like most).

The suppied servies is ok from pipex , just forget about getting onto their customer support.

I'd have rated Nilrams support up with Zens for sheer accesability.

now Zen will pwn you all

Ha! I popped in here to ask if anyone's Nildram connection has just slowed to worse than dial-up. Everything seems to be down, website, my hosted stuff, all of it.

And you then tell me this! Nuff said

It's all the bad weather we've had today, various ISP's have been hit by it.

Hey - suppose it could have been worse - could have been AOL...

Haven't really been impressed with Nildram ever since they gave all their customer details to a mailing firm who clearly didn't understand security.... (in an access file, within the webroot of a server is not the best place to store names and addresses).
Now go away before I taunt you a second time.

    WOW!

If it was April 1st it would be quite funny. Very strange take over I though Nildram was the dogs b*****s for broadband, seems strange that Pipex take over. I am with pipex I wonder if this means I will get lower pings now.
