    Port Forwarding (zsnes & zbattle.net)

I have been trying to run the SNES emulator, Zsne,s using its netplay
    feature via zbattle.net

Unfortunatly i cant get it to work doing this and i have been told its because
    of my router.

I have never had this problem before so im unsure as exactly what to do.

    My router is a D-link DI-614+

    According to zbattle.net

If you are using a router you need to access its configuration page (this is usually done by typing http://192.168.0.1 in your browser). In the port forwarding section of the router configuration page, you need to forward UDP port 7845 (for ZSNES) and TCP port 4000 (for zbattle.net downloading) to your LAN IP. For more information on how this is done, please consult your router manual.

If you are using a firewall you need to allow incoming/outgoing UDP port 7845 (for ZSNES), outgoing TCP port 4398 (to connect to the zbattle.net server), and incoming TCP port 4000 (for zbattle.net downloading). For more information on how this is done, please consult your firewall software documentation.

I dont have the firewall enabled on this router (i think)

This is what i have found in my router settings

    Virtual Server

Virtual Server is used to allow Internet users access to LAN services.

    Name
    Private IP
    Protocol Type TCP UDP Both
    Private Port
    Public Port

Is this the right place to enter the detail? if so do i put the port number 7845 in both the private and public? and what is the private IP? is it my computer on the network? or the IP i get from my ISP?

other things listed just show 0.0.0.0

    ----

    Also i have found this,

    Special Application

Special Application is used to run applications that require multiple connections.
    Enabled Disabled
    Name
    Trigger Port -
    Trigger Type TCP UDP Both
    Public Port
    Public Type TCP UDP Both

    --------

which of the two am i supposed to use and if its the second do i put the port number in both the trigger and public?

    ---

I cant easily test it working so i cant really hack my way through it

doesnt matter i did it by myself.

I had to use virtual server and use 192.168.0.100 in the private ip
i put both for ports and put the port in both private and public.in the names i used zsnes and zbattle.net it worked fine.

Come on people who wants a kicking at sf2 turbo
