On Network Homeplugs any experience with these?

Thinking about getting these homeplugs from pcworld with voucher PLA25 for £19.99 delivered. Just wondering if they are a good buy or a waste of money. They are normally priced around 40-50 pounds.

I need to connect my pc in another room and would prefer it to be wired connection rather than wireless, but don't want trailing cables.

Any info on how they perform would be very much appreciated.

to some extent you are at the mercy of your electrical wiring, regardless of which model you buy.

At least with pcworld it's an easy return - I bought some belkin gigabit (lol) homeplugs, updated the firmware and it bricked one of them.... took the set back, got a full refund

I don't have experience with On Networks particularly but they look remarkably like some no-name home plugs I used to replace an unreliable wi-fi link in a customers home.

+ They worked reliably, at least up to broad band speeds.
+ They don't like distribution strips.

Hi I have no exp with these particular items, but have used TP link, and yes they worked, however the speed was so poor that I found alternative solutions in the end. I have a Victorian house with fairly aging wiring, so that may account for it, but just have an open mind.
