    Wireless Powwerline

I've been using a TP-LINK TL-PA211KIT to get a connection to my router from the media player downstairs. Works fine, but the upstairs homeplug to my router leaves an ugly fat CAT5 cable between them. Now, TP-LINK do a TL-WPA281 which supports a wireless connection, but from what I can tell, this is so clients (downstairs) can wireless go out to t'internet via my wired plug upstairs, which doesn't solve my problem. Or have I got it wrong?
This hot girl came over to myspace last night, she twittered my yahoo till I
googled all over her facebook. Ask Jeeves...

    Re: Wireless Powwerline

That sounds true but not sure what you're trying to achieve ?
I have a router downstairs which plugs into a devolo homeplug which then transmits down the powerline to a wireless station on the landing so that the kids can connect in their rooms.

You are looking to go to a similar set up but you router is upstairs and you take the connection downstairs and you want to remove the Cat 5 between the router and the plug ?
    Society's to blame,
    Or possibly Atari.
