you dont need a modem and a router... just a DSL router will do.

Are Wannadoo not doing 1Mb cheap atm just to get a decent userbase?

I would suggest plusnet as your isp (danielowenuk if you wanna give me a referal).
Have a look over at www.adslguide.org, some very knowledgable people over there.
Bulldog are good. Mine seems to run at 2mb all of the time, despite being 'off peak'!
Not around too often!
so need a router wit a built in modem, and then i hav to run a pile of cables round that house to network the computers, or can u get wireless networking kits that i can use, basically i need broadband on 2 computers in the house
If you going to get a wireless router and pci cards, buy them from broadbandbuyer.co.uk. Thats where i got mine from and when i had any trouble they were really helpful and easy to deal with. I bought a wag54g linksys and pci card and havent had a problem yet.
wots the delivery like on that site, coz i live in N.I. so companies hav great craic stickin huge postages fee's on it, rather annoying
Broadbandbuyer is top for price, availability and service. As for ADSL providers my mum and gran both use Eclipse which IMO is the pick of the bunch.
i was lookin at pipex, anyone hav any view on them?? they seem fairly reasonable for 512 wit no cap
I'am in N.I and use Eclipse,so far their service has been excellent.Oh and no download caps as yet.I had Pipex in my last house and it was great while it worked, but last years free connect/modem offer dented their service and reliablity.
