Need A New Internet Provider

Hiya,

Well i'm currently on ntl but i've canceled my ntl 128k because of a bit of a falling out which i don't want to go into.

So i was wondering if anyone knew of any good internet providers in the Area of Nottingham, which are very good and are known for being reliable, also are able to have 1 or 2 MBit lines

The only operators doing 1mbit and 2mbit lines are the cable companies (NTL and Telewest). If you've got NTL in your area then the chances are you haven't got Telewest.

BT are going to begin testing 1mbit ADSL soon but I wouldn't hold your breath. If you're looking for an ADSL supplier then I would suggest Pipex. It's cheap (£24 per month), it's fast and it's reliable.

I'd recommend Giointernet.com at a mere £18.99 for 576K broadband (They're what I use).

There's also freedial.biz which costs a tiny £12.99 a month, but they seem a little quirky.

Whatever, you'll need a BT phone line AND your area supports broadband (BT will have info on their site).
