Question Problem setting up IPSEC VPN with Vigor 2710n

    Hi,

I'm trying to set up a IPSEC VPN from my Draytek Vigor 2710n to my office which is running a NETGEAR ProSafe VPN Firewall FVS336GV2.

The router logs are giving me this (ip address has been replaced):

    2013-03-09 16:33:18 local1.notice Vigor: Dialing Node1 (RRC) : xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
2013-03-09 16:33:18 local1.notice Vigor: Initiating IKE Aggressive Mode to 212.169.52.114

    2013-03-09 16:33:29 local1.notice Vigor: NAT-Traversal: Using draft-ietf-ipsec-nat-t-ike-02/03, no NAT detected

Does anyone know where I'm going wrong?

    Thanks

    Sam

Starting with basics. Is either passing through another router/firewall? Is VPN passthrough enabled?

Just got it working this morning after confirming the log on credentials for the third time. I had been given the wrong PSK.

Thanks for the help though, does anyone know how to look up what those IKE responses mean in case something similar happens again? I assumed I could find an error code look up somewhere but have had no luck.

    Thanks

You can read a PDF on draytek site about the VPN IPSec log.
DrayTek - How can you analyze VPN IPSec log?
