    External phone cable

    Hello

I am extending my telphone cable from the master phone socket so that I can move my router. the route the cable is taking goes outside so I have used an external phone cable here:

How do I determin the pairs? the white cables dont have any marks on them. does it matter what colour wires i use or is it just a matter of making sure what colour I have conected at each end?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Re: External phone cable

It would appear that s long as the same wire is connected to the same terminal on each end you are good to go.

However, here is the colour order just to make it right.
