If you missed or skimmed it: Download for TL-WR841ND V8

Edit: Sorry, didn't read that you need easy setup, all I can see in the link I provided has firmware only.

I got the setup running , but now the D-link e100 hub I bought seems to playing up ..

    first it wouldn't load drivers
    then it did
and now TP-link is saying its not plugged in even though all the correct lights are lit on it , and the 2 on the D-Link are lit ( I am running windows XP )

Check if there are latest drivers for the DUB-E100.

If the two lights are lit on the D-Link E100, what colours are they?

Re: Problems with TP-LINK TL-WR841ND router

I can't recommend any since I have not used a ethernet over usb adapter but in my office I have users who have Dell XPS 13 ultrabook and prefer to have Ethernet connection. I have ordered few startech brands and they are okay.

BTW if your laptop have USB 2.0 ports and the adapter is USB 2.0 that claims to support gigabit, don't be fooled you will only get up to 480Mbps throughput via USB 2.0.
