I'm using Asus N56u, got 4 computers, 4 laptops, 4 android devices and x box collecting the router.
Wondering if the new Virgin router capable to connect and us 10+ devices?
I know the old one can't hence I got N56u.
Any Insight would be great!

I remember reading on a Infinity vs Virgin comparison last month that the BT box is limited to 10 connections but the Virigin was not (meaning more than 10) but I can't find the page right now to back it up![]()

Virgin's SuperHub was anything but Super the last time I had one and reading around the web I don't think it's improved much. My advice would be to ditch their routing function and just use it as a modem as soon as you can if Virgin still allow you to use your own router.
Having ditched Virgin not so long ago they still allow you to use your own router. I'd echo jimborae's comments about using the 'Super' hub in Modem only mode and attaching your choice of decent router.
Can't agree more with you, that is why I ask them to sent me a plain modem box and not 2 in 1!
So I use my Asus router, more range, speedier connection, more functionality and most important not to lag when 4 or more device is connected!
I just hoping their new one is better so I can use my Asus router as an access point to extend my range!
Out of interest how well did the request go down? I had to fight for some time when my trusty old NTL modem died to get a plain regular boring modem. They claimed they didn't have any for a long time! I did point out that one of the many departing customers would have them returned and eventually got one!
took sometime (2 long phone calls), that was just after when they started the 2 in 1 one
Have to argue with someone who don't anything about modem and wireless (poor english too), then ask to speak to duty manager!
My one is the virgin media one!
Did have NTL 1, but power plug a bit loose. (I think it still in my garage with the rest of the junk)
Sounds familiar. The only way I ever got anything done was going through the 'retentions' department. Primarily they're based in the UK [so you'll probably be able to understand them!] and generally have a grasp of the basics [and importantly know how to talk to if they don't understand the techy stuff].
