One network with Virgin Superhub and second router onto same SSID...advice please

    Hello everyone,

I currently have a the Virgin SuperHub connected in my house in the middle of the house, this gives me good signal all downstairs and on the first floor, but terrible signal in the loft.
In the loft I have a "Belkin wireless G plus MIMO router" which is connected to the Superhub via cable. From the belkin router I have 3 connected wired devices, PC, Laptop and XBOX.

This setup works fine however it uses 2 SSIDs and I can only be connected to one router at a time on wireless devices and have to manually switch when roaming the house. Here lies the problem. I would like to set the router and superhub up in a way that would allow me to switch between both seamlessly as I roamed the house.

BEFORE people tell me to do a search on the forums and on google, I have already done so, and am aware about those processes when you turn the DHCP off on the second router and set the I.P to 192.168.1.2...and the range of the primary router to 192.168.1.3-255.

however would this still work if i have 3 devices wired to the second router or will it severely limit the speeds on the devices connected to the second router as they all run off 1 I.P address?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

just set it as a wireless access point, if the router has the option.

if it has no AP mode you connect the superhub to a lan port not the wan port and disable DHCP to allow the SH to do this work.

in theory it should swap to the strongest signal but in reality it will hold onto one until the bitter end before swapping to the other.
