Are any of you on this ? if so any issues ?
Getting upped to the 60Mb service in the morning but with the amount i have just saved on the bill for the next 12 months i might be tempted to go for the full fat service.

I'm on 120mb with the new super hub, don't even know what the upload speed is! I'd hazard a guess at 20, don't think virgin have ever been great in that regard.

12Mb
There is no set rule for upload speed, its depends on the package and code used on the system for your level of service. Also depends whether your upstream is bonded or not. Double speed packages for instance were only doubled on the downstream, not the upstream. As far as I know tho, all 120Mb packages have 12Mb upload, may see as high as 13.
the QoS on download speeds is actually at least 10% higher than advertised though. So 120Mb actually has a QoS of 133000000kb (might be a 0 over or short there, im tired and eyes not functioning well) 60 is 66, 30 is 33 or 35, etc etc etc
Its done to provide an overhead for loss at the later stages of the network, between cabinet and modem.

Very excited about my 120mb thats coming in late this month. Currently on c.7mb ADSL. The way I look at it its an eco friendly thing, as I'll no longer have to leave the pc on 48 hours to download anything!
knew I shouldn't have posted in this thread, jinxed myself!
over the weekend the Wi-Fi was dropping out, looked on the virgin site and seems to be a dhcp issue, ip not renewing. disable 5ghz and changed the Wi-Fi channel to see if that makes a difference.
