    bluetooth wireless

    well i just setup a modem/router for my adsl so my pc can be switched off and people still have the internet. the thing i need to know is though at the moment i have.

    (modem/router) -> (hub) -> (PC's/Other hubs etc)

    the other hubs are not important as they will be gone when i move at the end of the year and the hub will be changed to a nice 100mb switch.

    what my question is however is can i do this.

    (mod/rout) -> (hub) -> (PC's)
    ->(BlueTooth APoint) -> (wireless laptops etc)

    basically can i plug the accesspoint into my hub or switch so i guess im asking is the bluetooth access point really just a hub thanks

    you can, it'd be like connectin a another switch to ur router.
    it should work fine as long as its after the hub.

    You can but bluetooth isn't exactly designed for networking in this manner as the range is very short.

    You'd probably be better off with a 802.11b/g wireless access point.
