    Virgin Media hijacked Google account...

Virgin media, in their infinite wisdom have taken over any google accounts that are related to thier email addresses, which means my MAIN google account that's used for youtube, analytics, webmaster tools, adserve, and all the other Web Based applications I've got from google is now COMPLETELY inaccessible as whenever I try and log in I get sent straight to virgin medias page to login and the single sign on does not seem to be working, so I sign in to virgins system but not google at all.

Anyone know how to get round it?

    That title is somewhat misleading.

Google have recently made some changes to the way people sign into their services. As a result, you can no longer use your Virgin Media email address as the user name to sign into their services.
By the sounds of it Google either don't want to unwittingly store your email, have accounts linked to ISP emails which will change if you change ISP, or want to try to force use of their email, because they have targeted ads in it.

I'd found that but it wasn't working because I was getting stuck in a SSO loop when trying to sign in and go to settings to change my primary email address, but thanks.

Well when I was trying to sign in to google, I was getting sent to VM's log in page. When I went back to google, I was signed out. I literally couldn't sign in with my account because the domain name was one of virgin medias so my session was being hijacked and sent to VM when signing in to google.

It did however turn out that I had changed the email address associated with the account a few weeks ago (I think before I went away to LA for a couple of weeks so didn't remember) but the login "reminders" on my work account stayed as my old blueyonder address completely confusing me... eek.
