    Slow loging onto windows domain

Hi, i've just rebuilt one of the PCs on ym windows domain, and i set it up and storted it all, but whenever i try to log onto the domian, it takes about 10-15minutes to "apply personal settings"

    - i've tryed everythink, all the ip address (preferd DSN etc) are right, and it all just look 100% fine (and it all works, just very slowly!!)

    - what have i dont wrong, whould you i look at altering?

Not sure if this is your problem, probably not...

Are you using roaming profiles or not?

I had a similar problem at work the other day at work, and it turned out the user had 500Mb or so of photos on her desktop, so each time she logged in the 500MB's worth of photos got transfered accross! Took a while!

Not had any other problems like this before so not sure what else it could be...

Sorry mate, I'm not sure then. My knowledge on the subject isn't great, especially as I've never really had many problems like that to fix!

    Hope it gets sorted...
