    virgin.net broadband down

    Simple.
My virgin.net broadband is down today (27th) but was working yesterday.
the free telephone support said there maybe something wrong with the network but i'll have to call pay 25p/min tech support.
So i check the website, through dial up, and nothing is mentioned.
So i can teach upport and they say no network issues.

    I'm connecting via a Netgear 834g router/modem...

    Anyone had similar issues...?

    Cheers

have you tryed updating through the router someting like status or something, or just try turning it off for 2 mins and turning back on again, i just do this to my router when my internet goes down and it works.

I've tried the on and off routine several times throughout the day...no result.
I'm going to do the deep probe tomorrow when I have time.
    I'll keep ya posted.
i was mostly interested to see if any peeps had seen similar service probs.

    All sorted now.

I changed my e-mail password 3 weeks ago, the boradband worked for the next 3 weeks ok....

Until 27th when they decided that my old password was invalid.....wierd......

Why wait 3 weeks, it might be because they had server issues over the xmas eve period...

    Well there you go.

Anything goes wrong with Virgin, always try to reset your password...that's worked twice for me now...(1st time on initial sign up)
