Fixing Reverse DNS for email?

Hmm I have a problem, no not that one, this is actually not a personal problem.

I have a dedicated server and recently took on a friends website, it seems though that there is a problem with my email config.

I am getting reverse DNS entry errors on emails and I really need to try to resolve it. The server is running:

WHM 9.9.9 cPanel 9.9.9-R14
CentOS 3.3 i686 - WHM X v3.1.0.

How the heck to I configure the reverse DNS? I have been through the cPanel manual and the WHM and still no joy to specifically resolve my little problem, can someone tell me in laymans terms what the heck is going on?

Erm but are you able to set up things like reverse DNS from those tools, I take it from what you are using that you are using hosted space. Surely its down to your HOST to setup the reverseDNS you need.

If you could do it it would be incredibly dangerous with what you could do?...
