Question Mobile data/dongle - streaming help please

    HI folks,

I get married in just over 2 weeks. Unfortunately a close family member is terminally ill and it is looking highly unlikely that they will be able to make it.

I am hoping to put something in place to allow them to see as much of the day as possible.

I was thinking of having it live streamed etc throughout the day. But this has raised a few questions.

I have been trying to find mobile data deals (1 month only) and these are looking hard to find. GiffGaff only offers a maximum of 1GB which is a joke - for their gigabags.

Would it be best to open a giff gaff goodybag and using a mobile as a portable hotspot, or is there better ways of doing this?

Likewise, what would be best for streaming. Skype or others?

Thanks for any help you can give.

Re: Mobile data/dongle - streaming help please

I know Three do reasonably priced mobile data PAYG packages, it's what I used when I worked away for weeks on end. Works well with laptops, tablets and portable hotspots etc.

Three also have PAYG add-ons for their 1-2-3 PAYG phone plan, notably the £20 package which will get you 12GB of data that lasts a month.

  3. Received thanks from:
