    Got ISDN, want ADSL

I have had ISDN 64k for a couple of years now and its just crap and expensive + i dont use the extra lines + i can get ADSL now in my village!

Anyway, i want to know if they will try to charge me to get the ISDN uninstalled when i upgrade to ADSL? Is the best option to ask to cancel the entire line in m y bedroom (phone line & ISDN). Then get ADSL off the main house phone line?

I am looking at getting 1mbit for the house to share on a network.

    Ben

    Hi Bunjiweb
Yes you will be charged for removing the isdn 64K box and having your line put back to a normal line , about £50.00 but if you went with BT`s ADSL ISP option they will not charge you for the swap over of the line and you get free install etc. not a bad deal for 12months and then swap over to one of the better ISP`s. Have a think about what you are going to do with the ADSL line like speed 1meg / 2meg , how much downloading you will do and look around at what other isp have on offer any deals etc.
