Bulldog DNS servers

Hi,

Is anyone else on Bulldog and suffering from really slow (maybe 2-3 second response) DNS requests? I know that's not "really slow" but it's sort of annoying.

Or does anyone know of any decent fast open DNS servers close to LINX?

I've not noticed any DNS slowdown from the bulldog side but I do use nildram's DNS servers as well in my router.

I'd give them a ring and log the DNS to see if they also get any more reports and escalate the issue to the techy guys

0800 4048 151 choose option 4 when prompted for technical support is the number and a quick check on their status page shows they have a few issues with a couple of DSLAMS, and also SMTP (http://www.bulldogbroadband.com/support/status.asp) so yours could be 1 of them thats affected.

Lets hope you get it sorted quickly.
