    Daisy chaining wirerless routers?

    Hi,

Problem: the cable line comes into the basement of my house, my room is on the third floor and we use all wireless. The signal is so weak all the time and sometimes non existent.

I was thinking would it be possible to have a tx/rx wireless unit go accross the basement near the laundry shoot to another reviever unit/router, then to have a cable run up the shoot to the third floor and have a wireless signal transmitter there and still keep speed the same?

    thanks m8's,

    Paul

that'll work, but you would be better off wiring in the basment and placing the router at the shoot and running the cat5 up that way.. if at all possible.
