    Pipex or ZenADSL?

Right i'm moving in to a ADSL area on the 14'th and have had cable for last few years and come down to a pick of pipex and zen for a ISP

    pros/cons for both?
Someone left a note on a piece of cake in the fridge that said, "Do not eat!". I ate the cake and left a note saying, "Yuck, who the hell eats paper ?

Never had Zen but my Pipex connection was second to none and i'm going back soon. Their 512k was faster and more reliable than my current CPBB 1mb/s

Zen imo, we have gxnetworks at work, bought out by pipex, had a fair few reliability problems, check for the extras, speed isn't usually a problem between those two so check support call costs, webspace bandwidth allowance, newsgroups etc etc.

End of the day there will be something between them that you prefer its just finding it.

I'm with Pipex 1mbit, never had any problems, speed is great, 115-120kb/s from all good download connections, and i have a static IP address as well
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.

Sounds like it depends on the area you are moving to to the service you get, alot of isps are like that, webspace ect are not something I need as I get free hosting already so its just the connection, I'm now looking more at pipex as they are cheaper to setup and thats good after the move costing us around 1500 notes

    Zen here too!

Have been with them for 3.5 years and have had half a day of downtime in the whole of that time. (Due to BT)

    Static IP address too.

Pipex here as well, very consistent speeds, no problems, loads of email addresses, it just plain works well.

I've used both, almost identical services and support, but Pipex are cheaper per month and have cheaper set-up costs. Your choice.
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

Im with Nildram, they were awsome untill Pipex bought them out, my pings have about doubled since then and get odd days pf very poor speeds. Might just be me though. Id go with Zen if i were in your position.
