detagged Domain names

Due to a problem with 1n1 I have got several detagged domain names to restart - but Nominet want £15 a pop! Any cheaper way (rather than cancel them and hope I get to re-register before someone else), only one is important but would reclaim all of them if can be done free/cheap.

Get 1n1 to do it if problem caused by them. i am afraid there won't be any other way out .

If you switch host and explain that it happened during a transition they will waive the fee (if that's what happened) otherwise you'll be stung.
you also had a two week grace period - did they miss that also?
i forced my old host to pay, as their administrator was on holiday, and didn't bother telling anyone else at 34sp to process the transfer requests. (owner/administrator/chief tech in charge)
