must admit the deal looks too good to be true, unlimited, free modem, 29.99 a month. Very intriguing, whats the catch ?

edit: cant get it in my area, oh well

Only the 8mb connection currently uses the LLU at the moment. The 2mb is available to anybody in an ADSL enabled area. Looks tempting couldnt see if it was a 1 month or a 12 month contract though. Dont like the idea of a 12 month contract.

Blimey, thats a good deal. I don't think I can afford it though, so I'm stuck with £17.99 NTL...

Lol, go NTL for a month starside, and you'll never moan about other ISPs disconnecting. I have to reload the NTL set top box about 3 times a day because I lose my connection. S'crap.

I think with NTL it really depends on where your living. Down here (swansea/neath) i hardly ever have any problems with the actual service, it works basiclly. In the last 6 months its probably gone down 2 maybe 3 times due to server upgrades or whatever. No one i know has complained about them either but what we do agree on though is that their customer care still sucks.

ATM I am running a 512/256 connection, oiginally set up with Freeserve. This is uncapped and pretty much maxed out 24/7 with online gaming, downloading game patches etc. I maybe get a disconnection about once a week. and this costs me £27.99 per month. Is this good? Looking around here, I could quadruople(sp) my speed fopr the same price. Who is the best provider for uncapped services?

    AOL

Pipex are having all sorts of probs atm with the upgrades etc :/

when we move we are going to get the ukonline package we think.

looks good and cant see any probs. Spoke to a couple of friends who play a lot of online games and pings are good and no packet loss etc so looks good.
