Hyperoptic broadband - anyone tried them?

I have a new flat and can choose BT or Hyperoptic.

Has anyone got experience with Hyperoptic? It sounds like they do Cat5 from the cabinet to the building!

My daughter has Hyperoptic in her apartment, 100% reliable and stonkingly fast.
Try to make each and every day the best it can be.

As far as I know they're one of the first providers to offer gigabit FTTP on a wide scale in the UK. However, I'm pretty sure their standard service (roughly 30mbit) still uses the old FTTC technology on cooper phone lines, much like other providers that are under the OpenReach umbrella.

Well I got it in the end. Spoke with the two lads installing it and looked at some of the cabling at the back of our building. It turns out there's a switch installed in the attic of the flats, so it's FTTP. Not sure if that's the case always, but it is for our flats. From the switch, there's ethernet (sorry, no idea if cat 5e/6) to the individual flats. I paid for the 30mbps, and actually get about 34, with a 4ms ping. It's nice.
