I want to move the router to a more central location in the house, as opposed to next to the bt socket on the edge of the house.
I have a cat6 with rj45 on either end of it connecting router to my network switch.
Can anyone recommend what sort of adapter I need on either end of it? To connect a very new BT wall socket (without seperate microfilter) to a cat6 cable?
Thanks

I have the exact same wall box, and looking at it closely I do see extra room alongside the BT cable. Due to running line tests I am unable to unplug my router currently, and I only tested a Rj45 with a sort of manual splitter.
If you're planning on putting a RJ45 socket near the router then a short 'adaptor' cable like you linked to would probably do the trick. My original plan was to be able to move the router out from under the bed but things got complicated enough drilling holes...
