    ublock origin not as effective?

I've noticed add behaviour from the plugin in the last week or two. For example adverts on gumtree are always visible and sometimes on youtube I see adverts. I've tried updating the plugin but am wondering if anyone else is experiencing this?

Works fine for me. Not much help I know. The only ads I get on youtube are those annoying ones that come up over whatever your watching about 30 seconds before the end. I have now manually blocked them, they aren't really ads just promoting related videos

Ok thanks. Is there any chance you could pop on gumtree and see if you se that add that covers the borders of the screen?

There was a time using uOrigin that ebay images wouldn't show as zoomed, but that too has passed, all is well with my installation

I never see ads on Youtube. Have you tried reinstalling/updating, and updating the browser too?

However....................While I am not seeing ads on Gumtree I can no longer manually pick things to block either.

Re: ublock origin not as effective?

With Adblock Plus there is an option called 'Allow Acceptable Ads', perhaps there is a similar option in Ublock? Recently I noticed ads appearing all over the place, once I disabled that feature all ads were gone.
