    Cripes - I'm going to have togo searching for what my username/password is, LOL.

    And its free to the corresponding tier (so 1.5Mbps can go upto 3Mbps for free?)

    As a rough rule, divide the speed you bought by 10 to get its download rate.

    For instance, 300kb/s gives you around 35kb/s, and 1mb/s gives you around 100kb/s

    Isn't that because the speed you bought is kilobits, but we measure download speed in bytes? e.g. 300kb/s becomes, in theory, 37.5 KB/s (eight bits to a byte).

    hmm i phoned up (set top box) and the woman said its a mistake, and the upgrades arent til the end of the month? have i been bullsh*tted?

    I'd rather stick with 300k uncapped, so I'm not going to upgrade until I'm forced to. Also, I don't know how they can introduce a capping procedure on preexisting customers, as it wasn't in the contract.
