Router wanted with access control? Remote management?

Hi,

I found a router recently that let's you manage who has access to the internet and when (so it could be switched off at 12am midnight for example), although I don't think it's available anymore.

So does anyone have any recommendations? I'm guessing I'm looking for a good router with "Parental controls"

It's for a connection to virgin media / fibre (might be fibre through phone line).

I think this is a pretty standard feature - have seen BT and Plusnet default routers offer it, and Virgin suggests they do natively as well https://www.virginmedia.com/help/vir...-mac-filtering

I believe ASUS do it as well. Wondering whether it has become so standard that it doesn't always get listed in the headline features.

another option would be to build a pc running pfsense /opn sense or sophos xg home.

The Asus ones offer very good, easy to set & manage PArental controls with half decent granularity.

No, it's for someone else, who wants it to be as easy to manage as possible

They have a Virgin Media hub so I think it'll investigate the options there, as the simpler the better. Thanks everyone.
