    wireless security.....

ok, the last few days, ive noticed every now and then on my wireless router that the wireless g light flashes even when none of my pc's are on, it never used to do this until either a computer is connected or trying to connect, of course, the usual internet light flickers away as does the modem but, me being paranoid its been annoying me a bit

i am currently using wep anyway to protect my network but is there, say, a piece of software i can use to see who is connected to the network

    any suggestions ?

    thanx all

You should be able to see this somewhere in the router's internal webpage if it has one.

if you have DHCP set up to give out ips then you may be able to see if there is a name not on your network unless they have put in their own ip addy so your router well my router (3com) anyway wont detect that anyway

you shouldnt worry really. Just for peace of mind change your key and see if the same thing happens. It take longer than you can imagine to crack a 64bit WEP key. i know i could never do it with airsnort and using aircrack now i havent had much luck... i.e. none.
