    Your server, hosted for you

Is this available, where you have a server, all configured and everything. Just so you get an uber fast connection is there somewhere that'll host it at low cost.

I am not thinking of doing this, just curious.

yeah do note that the company they use (http://www.prioritycolo.com/):
    Colo: Starts @ $95/month
    Dedicated server: starts @ $99.95/month

for just a couple of pounds more a month they provide you the machine that you can do with what you please anyway...

If you have to buy your own rackmount machine it could be expensive.

but it can be to your spec and you know exactly what is on it

UK colo prices are generally about £15/month /unit for the space + bandwidth ( which can vary depending on how you want to pay for it )

bandwidth is what really costs the ££, my new company has a reasonable deal with 1u of space in either redbus or telehouse (probly gonna choose redbus we think, telehouse seem to be stuck up their own backsides)

£95 a month with 1u space, 100mbit connection and unlimited bandwidth peered with most major ISPs ofc

if you can beat that tho moby-dick would be nice to talk to you more about it, we havnt gone final on who we co-locate with yet...

I would be very suprised if you would get 100 meg uncontended for that price.

I host with one of europes largest ISP's UK hub - and a meg meg backbone feed costs me a lot more than that. you can get 100 meg connectinos but its essentially a burstable one , not a dedicated feed.

pm me with what you need and I'll see what I can do for you
