    Question Clarkconnect?

Anybody here used/has used/has heard of ClarkConnect?

It allows you to turn an old PC into a Linux based gateway. Very nice indeed, and free for home use. Great if you've got an old PC that's no good for anything else.

Its a cracker- I've had a play with it, but for what I needed it for, smoothwall was already built.

I'd recommend it to small business though.

Is it kept as up-to-date as SmoothWall/IPCop?

Yeah it's kept pretty up to date. It's based on RH9 and any security patches are on CC's site within the day, as a rule.
