    Question Wireless questions...

Just purchased a Belkin 11g wireless router to connect up my new laptop. It's installed a treat, and I am going to connect up my desktop through one of its four wired ethernet ports.

I would like to connect an external hard drive which can use USB or Firewire so that I can access it wirelessly on my laptop as I wander. Any easy way/products to do this.

Again, the router has four ethernet ports for wiring non-wireless devices.

    Cheers.

Do you mean that you already have a drive and are looking for an adapter, or that you haven't bought the drive and are looking to do this as well? If the former, then look at the Linksys Network Storage Link. Wired and wireless and works with USB2. £64.40 inc VAT from Dabs.

If you already have a USB HD, then just connect it to your desktop machine and share its 'drive' letter designation, sharing drives/folders is realitively straight forward, ask if you need more help.

A good option, but one that's reliant upon the desktop being running.
