    wireless antenna

just wondered if anyone here has used a wifi antenna to boost their gain.

i need something that connects to an MC (buffalo / oronico) connector.

ebay has a load of seemingly naff ones, just wondered if anyones used anything like this.

    thanks.

Do you really need one? i had problems and did the following:

    - Updated Windows XP to SP2
    - Latest Drivers
    - Updated Windows again

and went from having 8mbp/s to 42mbp/s

It makes a big big diference

I flashed the firmware of my Belkin access point to that of an SMC one of the same nature today, and gained the ability to turn up the power of the radio and now I get a largely increased signal around my house

I also gained the ability to use WPA Quite cool really
