Network cable quality

Hey,

I need a 20m stretch of ethernet cable to connect to a router... just wondering if there any special features I should be looking for (shielding and stuff like that), or is any of the generic stuff on eBay fine?

Also is there any particularly good/cheap places to buy from?

Unless you're going to be running it somewhere where there's loads of interference, or it's likely to be subject to mechanical damage, any generic cheapo Cat5e cable should be fine.

As for where to buy, Ebuyer are probably as cheap as anyone (if you're prepared to risk the hassle ).

Rave: It will be running past a shedload of power cables, and a proper BIG sub, is it still ok to buy UTP?
