Anyone got a MIMO or pre-N router?

Am thinking of getting a Belkin Pre-N (MIMO) router.

Any experiecnes of mixing that with standard 56G card?

Theres reviews in this months PC PRO, the belkin pre-n made it onto ther A-list.

The Highest speed over long ranger, the belkin doesn't require outlay on signal boosters. It represents good vaule if you need the range

IIRC and i may be completely wrong, but pre-n wont work if you have any g adaptors connected to it, i.e, you wont get some machines at n speeds and others at g, theyll all be at g

That's the main thing which I'm curious about. Mixed g/b is usually fine though there's a degradation in performance. I'm guessing it would be the same for mixed g/pre-n.

Yes, the Belkin has very good reviews across the web. So is the Linksys SRX and Netgear (!) Rangemax both being slightly overpriced.

What I'm curious about is whether a pre-n router can extend the range for a g receiver?

    Edit: found this:
Belkin Pre-N products do not drop to the lowest networking speed in a mixed-mode environment
If a standard 802.11g or 802.11b device is introduced into a Belkin Pre-N network.

The Belkin Pre-N product will not drop to the standard 802.11g or 802.11b speeds
Belkin Pre-N products will continue to transmit at a link rate of 108Mbps, a result competing products cannot achieve.

    Great bundle:
