    Question Wireless ADSL router

I'm currently on Bulldogs 8MB service, but it's currently at 6mb due to the crappy Speedtouch 330 modem that they send you. I was told to get a another modem, or even better a router to see my speeds reach their full potential.

So what I need is a wireless router (wires are too messy XD), that would enable me to browse the net (dun! lol), play my PS2 online, enable my PSP to also get online, and the upcoming Xbox 360.

Mate, I hate to break it to you, but the Speedtouch 330 is, from what I hear, a very good modem. It may be featureless, USB, and not very impressive or awe inspiring, but they're very good at picking up weak DSL signals, and all round impressive things.

I'd imagine that whoever told you to upgrade is just either trying to pass of the problem as not their own, or is trying to get you to spend money at their shop. Or both.

Hmmm that's strange, because a lot of people who are on the Bulldog service have ditched the "frog" as it's known lol, in favour of another modem/router and have seen significant speed increases, sometimes upto a 2MB speed increase.

Anyways, I need a router in order to get my consoles online.

Now that's intresting, however, on the numerous occasions I've talked to Zen customer services(who are the best CS I've used, and many others too) they say the frog, as you guys call it, is actually extremely good for picking up signals, and does what it does very very well.

Anyway, I can't give you a specific reccomendation, but anything by Draytek, although expensive, will be very good.

Can't go wrong with a linksys WAG54G (modem/router/wireless) and plusnet, not the cheapest but a good uncaped 2meg service gor £21 a month.
