Newwwwww Boardband Connection wanted > requirments

    Hellooooooooooooooo!

I'm dumping Wanadoo for a younger, fitted broadband service!

    Basically what I need is:

Uncapped or a VERY healthy bandwith limit,
    Fast speeds, (2mb very nice)
    Static IP is a nesseciaty!
Work with a wifi router (i assume all do, just checking )

I think ADSL connections are all dynamics IPs, not sure on that one, but it MUST be static.

    Thanking you muchly.

If you don't mind paying a bit more, Zen do 2mbit with 8 free static addresses.

If you directly migrate from your already-connected ADSL connection, isn't there usually no connection charge?

Have a look at Freedom2Surf, they seem to do what you want. £25 gets you uncapped (used to be 100 GB cap, but they changed it) at 2 MBit, and a static IP. I'm on the 2 GB cap package for £15 'cos I'm a cheapskate, but you get unmetered downloads after 1 am for the occasional, um, linux distro.

Oh and you can get 8 MBit in a few areas if you're really lucky. Hope this helps, I've been with them a couple of months and they seem pretty good.

appears to have free setup and modem on offer at mo for all home packages , bit more expensive than some @ 29.99 for 2mb but they have the unique flex ability so when 8mb is available you will be able to flex to 8mb for so many pence per hour + there is no usage limit and you've go static ip's

I second Freedom2Surf. Not had a problem with them. When I was first trying to get it set up I posted a question on the adslguide forum. 10 minutes later I get a phonecall from Freedon2Surf who walked me through getting it going. Great customer services.

Freedom2surf looks awesome, but these darn connection charges.

Is it correct what unreal said, then I'll go to freedom2surf!
