    Yea it is....

Nildram and Zen both do it, and thats with a quick look on the net. I'm sure many others do as well, but ideally I'm looking for one with free activation etc.. as stated above!

Yea Nildram do a 1 month contract but you have to buy your own modem and pay the activation fee as well.

I know AOL are doing a free modem deal at the moment, but you still have to pay the activation fee and it's a 12 month contract, dunno what AOL are like at ADSL either.

I've already got a modem so that isn't a problem...... just don't fancy paying £50. I've always managed to wing the free deals when i've signed up for adsl (twice now).

I'd say 'Pipex' are the best deal atm but if you want to spend loads of $$$'s go for Nildram.

read the small print tho - 1 month min contract may not always mean 1 month

for example, pipex has a clause at the bottom of their page, linked to their "1 month min contract" which says....

    * If you cancel the service within the first twelve months after activation, you will be charged a £58.75 cancellation fee.
if it ain't broke...fix it till it is

heh always something in the smallprint.. I've been with BT ADSL for nearly a year and half now.. VERY happy with them.

Can i ask why you only want a one months contract?
