I have spent considerable time studying this how-to guide, and can confirm that the content is good.
DFI LanParty UT NF4 SLI-D; AMD64 3500+ Winchester ;
2x XFX 6600GT ; Corsair XMS3200XLPRO TWINX 1GB;
Dell 2405FPW TFT.
*sigh* every cable I make doesn't work, and I have to keep coming back to this guide.
Oh well, I'll take a good look over the weekend and see what I come up with.
hehe we are of course talking about an rj45 type ethernet cable. The rj48c type cable is slightly different. its a good guide, i think i need to justify my time at work writing the rj48c one hehe..

What sort of cable does this make? RJ34C-22-34?
Look at this:
http://www.winnpsb.org/Tutorials/RJ45/default.htm
99% of normal patch cables (straight wired) are 586B to 586B - a crossover is simply 586A at one end and 586B at the other - refer to the diagram if this sounds confusing
I don't think people mind spending time to understand it
Same, such a pity....Originally Posted by Davey W
