    Changing ISP

    Hi,

I want to change ISP from Bulldog Communications to Be 24mbit. Is there any faster way of migrating other than getting the MAC code and waiting for BT to clear the line? Last summer when I changed from BT to Bulldog, I had no connection for 2 months. Surely theres a faster way than this.

    Thanks

Where are you located? Are you sure Be will work in your area? Your mac code shouldnt take more than a week to arrive, if it does just ge ton to them and start mentioning ofcom (or whatever they are calling themselves this week)

I'm in Manchester and Be will work in my area from December. I'm just getting some info together before it gets here so I can decide whether to switch or not. It's cheaper than what im paying atm and its 12x the speed but I dont want to be left without a connection for 2 months again. How long should it take once I have my MAC code?

    Thanks

In theory not veery long at all, but when youre dealing with bt who knows? You might want to get in touch with Be as i dont know if you need a mac code or if youjust cancel and resign up.
